I noticed on imagebrowser that on cursor moving above an image, Alternative text appears as the content in my image Caption/Description. The thing is, I´m using caption/description field to add multiple info., links and other HTML tags, that´s really not appropriate to appear as Alternative text.
    Any hints to fix this?
    Thanks 😉

About this post, an example can be seen on “page on the imagebrowser shortcode” here:

    http://nextgen-gallery.com/image-browser/

Place the cursor on the image, so the alt. text caption is shown. The content appears as the image description that includes all html tags.

    Suggestion for Alex Rabe:
Include an option with next version release on NextGen interface panel to customize this, so the user can choose the tags and Alt. Text to be shown.
    Thanks.

    Hi guys.
No help yet, and this is very important for me to continue developing my new website based on WordPress/ NextGen.

I´m not PHP expert, but if you just identify the files I can edit, and code lines related to this image Alternative Text on Imagebrowser, I´ll manage well to modify some code lines.

I just want to know where to control Alttext appearing on imagebrowser main image display, and turn it off, or modify it no be caption/description fields but the Image title.

Help on this please, guess it may an easy one…?

    Hello Hélio,
I am having the same problem. Did you ever found a solution for this issue?
