   Using the standard the_post_thumbnail function in my theme, it looks like NEXTgen gallery somehow hijacks it, and inserts its own thumbnail?

   I can't get my own custom thumbnails to show, it always pulls one from the gallery, at the size specified in the gallery settings.

   Strange.
