I notice that the NextGen plugin creates it's image tags separately from where WordPress creates it's tags for posts.
I'm trying to understand why this would be the desired behavior? I'd like to have my posts and images use the same set of tags. How can I do this?
For example, if I tag a post with the tag "Race Car", and upload an image using NextGen, and that image also has the tag "Race Car", I now have two separate tags!
I'd like to display my tags in a tag cloud, and if the user clicks "Race Car", is should show both the post, and the gallery image. I can't see how to get this to work.
As it is now, I have to have two separate tag clouds, one for posts, and one for gallery images. This dosen't make any sense to me.
Is there some way to merge the tags, or something? I must be missing something obvious - please help!
I love NextGen, but this may be a deal breaker for me...
