    Hi everybody,

    I have been having a problem that many others have had: not enough memory to create thumbnails of very large images. SO I read here and there and I did what everybody else seems to be doing: increasing the PHP memory_limit.

    Well, I did do that (actually I got my server's admin to do it for me). When I take a look at all the PHP settings (http://www.vcm.laosteria.ca/info.php) the memory limit is set to 64M like I wanted. But the Gallary does not see this change and it still sees the memory limit as 32M. Here are the server settings it shows:

    Server Settings

    * Operating System : Linux
    * Server : Apache 3 - HOSTMerit
    * Memory usage : 11.91 MByte
    * MYSQL Version : 5.0.67-community
    * SQL Mode : Not set
    * PHP Version : 5.2.6
    * PHP Safe Mode : Off
    * PHP Allow URL fopen : On
    * PHP Memory Limit : 32M
    * PHP Max Upload Size : 10M
    * PHP Max Post Size : 16M
    * PHP Max Script Execute Time : 100s
    * PHP Exif support : No
    * PHP IPTC support : Yes
    * PHP XML support : Yes

    What is going on? Can anybody help me?

    I show up what PHP tells me, so maybe you should restart the server, maybe the new settings are not used before...

    Oh well, it's not such a big problem. I will just reduce the pictures before uploading.

    Thanks.
