The last couple of days I have struggled with lightbox. I have spent loads of time, but zero effect... I have tried different lightbox scripts and both insalled them manually by ftp and as a wp plugin. I'm now running:
-wordpress 3.0.1 with picture perfect theme and I'm using plugin: nextGen gallery 2.0 and wp-jquery-lightbox v.1.2.1.
In nextGen gallery setup ->effects I have activated lightbox which gives the code: rel="lightbox[%GALLERY_NAME%]"
"Shutter-effect" in nextgen gallery works perfect, but I want lightbox.
My galleries at my site are created by tags - is this a problem?
My theme uses javascript in the left sidebar -is this conflicting?
Since I do not know if it is nextGen gallery who messes up I have also created a pure html test site at this location:

despite my efforts, nothing works and each picture loads up in a new window (and no lightbox effect.)
Any help will be very much appreciated
