• Hi Guys,
I am setting up a photo press site and i use Nextgen Gallery plugin for all photos to show on the pages. For showing images works as it should, no complains.

But for making galleries for download purposes in low and high resolution seem that the plugin is not really suitable.

What i need to achieve is simply to have to links under each image thumbs (low res with 72dpi) and (high res 300dpi).

I have added nextgen resize addon and it looks that it only resizes the images with one criteria that i defined in control panel.

From my research looks like it needs to be done with GD library and Nextgen plugins templates.

    1. Uploading high res images in one gallery
    2. Embedding nextgen in posts with custom template
    3. Having having downloadable links for low and high res images from same gallery

Any idea how to do this or any snippets that can be helpful?

  • Hi there, I’ve been looking for something similar as I’m aiming to set up an image archive whereas I can upload high resolution photos to my website, they display a low resolution thumbnail, and then options to either download the 300dpi and an option for the 72dpi…was just wondering if you had any luck finding what you were after, and if you did could you point me in the right direction, thanks a bundle, Danny
