I have all kinds of error message like
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 77824 bytes) pointing to Nextgen gallery.
My site works, I deactivated Nextgen, but even when I try to remove the plugin from the dashboard I get the massage:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 77824 bytes) in /wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/lib/meta.php on line 180
I removed the plugin folder by FTP, but the problem was not solved, for I got the message when backing up my site with backWPup and the backup process didn't work.
[ERROR]Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 12774391 bytes)
My question: I want to remove nextgen-gallery in total from my site. Can somebody please tell me how I can fix that?
