   I can't upload pics to a gallery I create. After hitting upload I see a window flash by with "login failure error -1."

   I can. however, upload an entire folder and make a gallery out of it. But it resides outside of the gallery folder that Next Gen defaults to.

   Any ideas?

   Same error here, fresh install on WP 3.2.1.

   Same here. I updated NextGEN and now I'm having failures again. Thumbnails fail to create for those images that do load.

   I turned off Yoast before uploading.

   Did anybody ever find a solution to this? I am running into the same problem and I can't seem find a solution anywhere.

   I've had upload issues for quite some time. Here's my issue:

   Same problem here. Login failure. Small files seem to work right though. I checked upload file size limit and is 20mb. It won't work with 1.5mb files though.

   Actually I tried again with a small file and it didn't work. I did find a solution, however temporary.

   I installed 1.8.1, an older version and that fixed it. You can download it here. There might be copies on the developer's site but I am not sure.
