   I want to create a gallery in every post on my site automatically (so with a tag) which will be like a slideshow with the large image above and thumbnails below. The images will be pulled automatically from the post gallery. Is this possible? Do I need any extra plugins?

   Do you mean you want to load a gallery into a post depending on the tags used? Or do you mean something like adding a custom field value (the gallery ID) and then having it load via the theme?
