[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] loading images dynamically?

hej all,

I want to use the great plugin nextgen gallery. One thing I thought about was that whenever I click the next or the previous button to jump to the next image, the page loads entirely new. I want to avoid that and want to load just the three fragments of my slidehow: the links and the image.
how can I implement such a solution? does anybody know any different solutions to achieve that dynamic solution? I think of a jquery solution or anything similar…

I am using nextgen gallery 1.9.0 and wp 3.2.1
