   Installed NextGen Gallery version 1.9.1 and NextGen Custom Fields version 1.2.2.
   Extra field "Link" made in Custom fields to open html link in another page when you click on the thumbnail. This don't work at version 1.9.3.

   When you updated NGG, it overwrites all the plugin files. You need to re-make the changes to the gallery templates.
   You can then move the templates to your them directory so they don't get overwritten in any further updates.

   I have the same problem... made & saved changes in galley templates ..didn't help..
