[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Lightbox is not working, images opens alone in the browser window

    Hi,

    I use the current version of Nextgen with WP 2.8.6.

    In the former version of NextGen 1.4.0 the lightbox has worked.
    With this new version, the lightbox effect does not work anymore (have nothing changed!).

    All images have rel="lightbox[myart]", if I look at the source code of my website.
    But the images opens alone in the browser window.

    Any idea, how to get it to work?

    I’d like to get an answer to this question as well. In my case the only two effects that work are Thickbox and Shutter. The rest of the effects aren’t functioning at all. Thanks in advance.

    yes only two effects work in nexgen gallery. others we have to manually enable it. after goggling it i got to know. thanks.

    Answer for all your solution is: Cleaner Gallery

    Just install the gallery and select which kind of light box type you want to have…

    You can choice between:
    1. Lightbox 2
    2. Slimbox
    3. Slimbox 2
    4. Thickbox
    5. Lytebox
    6. Greybox
    7. Lightview
    8. jQuery Lightbox Plugin (balupton edition)
    9. jQuery Lightbox Plugin
    10. Shutter Reloaded
    11. Shadowbox
    12. FancyBox
    13. jQuery Lightbox
    14. LightWindow
    15. FancyZoom
    16. Floatbox
    17. Colorbox

    After selection just save it…

    It works with NextGEN Gallery and WP-Photo Gallery…
