I have used the NextGen Gallery plugin on several sites without any issue and must say it is brilliant.
It seems however that I have installed it today and I am finding a bit of an issue with the orientation that the images are displaying in when in the lightbox.
I have checked the settings and I am unable to work this out, so some help would be much appreciated.
This is what I did.
I uploaded two portrait images and added them to the gallery. In the gallery manager the images were showing in landscape so I rotated them clockwise and also used the 'create new thumbnails' option. The thumbnails now show as portrait.
Within the post the thumbnails also show as portrait, but when clicked and the image is shown within the lightbox, it displays landscape.
I have checked the NextGen settings and I have unticked the 'Set fix dimension' box to allow the plugin to not ignore the aspect ratio.
Within the options there is also a section for images which talks about the image re-sizing. It is currently set to 800x600, but I did not want to change this as I was not sure how it would affect things. (I will be using both portrait and landscape images in the galleries).
I have also tried using the different effects options, but this has not worked either.
I am hoping someone is able to help me with this as it has me quite confused. Any help is very much appreciated.
