Hello,
Is there a way to have the same results like : http://deluxethemes.com/redcarpet/photos/jennifer-lopezs-twin-birthday-party/
with NextGen Gallery ?
I tried to use NextGEN Smooth Gallery but i can make it to look the same - The big image to load in the same page after i click on the thumb - .
Thanks if anyone can guide me. I would love to make this with NextGen since i like it very much. But if are alternatives let me know.

Hi,
not at the moment (imagebrowser is closest but reloads page for every pic) but there´s something possible in a pipeline somewhere, for now these are close but rely on flash

To bad that rely on flash. I have search for a method to do this with NextGen gallery without flash but didn't manage to find any.
How can this be made?

Seems like is an AJAX NAVI system. That would be good but not for me since i want to reload the way is there on my first link but using nextgen. Basically if i click the image thumbnail, below to show the full size of the image in the same page just like my example.
P.s: It's a great future for people with alot of images.

I too would like to see this type of layout: thumbnails in a row, larger image displayed above or below. It's a very common layout for image galleries but I have found no way to do this in WordPress. I'm trying to modify the templates but as I'm not very good at php I'm not having any luck.
NextGEN is by far the best image management plugin for WordPress. It would be cool to see some options for controlling the layout of photos.

The above post doesn't address the topic. We are discussing modifying the NextGEN gallery. The link above refers to a completely different plugin.
Would still like to hear from the developer of NextGEN about the possibility of a modification to the gallery layout.
