Intermittent problems loading slideshow (1 post)

I have an interesting intermittent problem loading a slideshow in a highslide window using NextGen and imagerotator.swf

I have a sidebar menu with links to pages. These pages open in highslide html boxes. Most pages open and display fine, but a page with a slideshow e.g. '[slideshow id=2]' won't open unless I have previously opened one of the previous pages without a slideshow.

The problem can be viewed on this page at my site:

If you go to the page and click directly on the link with the slideshow 'article five' then the highslide box opens with an error message 'The Flash Player and a browser with Javascript support are needed.' If you then click the link to previous in this highslide box, to open up 'article four' (this is just an empty article with a heading), and then click the link to next, to go back to 'article five', then hey presto!....slideshow is working fine.

Alternatively, if you refresh the page... (and now opening article five won't work again) and then open article four and close it, then click the article five link to show the slideshow, it will work fine again, until you navigate away and back to that page.

My gut feeling is that there is something wrong in the placement of the link to the swfobject.js I've tried, as a test, putting it at the top of the page that has the slideshow tag in it (article five). I've also tried putting it at the top of my single page template. Neither work and I'm now out of ideas!

Any help or thoughts would be great! Thanks
