Hello
I upgraded to 1.7 two days agon and I am no longer able to upload images to my galleries. After the uploading processes occurs with the progress bar, I get the message "0 picture(s) successfully added"
No matter in I choose the flash or the browser uploader.
Does anybody can help ?
thank you
Pierre
I de-installed and reinstalled 3 times.
I got errors after every uninstall proces because of a database error.
Apparently it was because of a database issue. I updated it when I upgraded but I guess it didn't work.
I installed the previous version back and now it works fine.

How did you return to the previous version? I also found 1.7 to be non-functional and I've had to deactivate.
Which PHP version do you have ?

Same problem Alex. WordPress 3.0.3, PHP5. Upload of pictures work but result is "0 picture(s) successfully added". Cannot add pictures to existing gallery through any method.

Hi Alex,
I had the same problem - after the update I couldn't upload images.
For me the solution was to allow the field image_slug in the pictures table to be NULL.
Works like a charm now :)
Best Regards,
Mike

Hi to all,
how or where do you set "allow image_slut" to be null?

Do you have access to phpMyAdmin or some other way to access your database?
You need to go there and find the table "wp_ngg_pictures". In that table, edit the field "image_slug". With phpMyAdmin you just check the box saying "NULL" and things should be ok.
Good luck,
Mike

The problem persists.
I've the same HTTP ERROR.
Should be fixed in Version 1.7.2, released in a couple of minutes

I've solved this error by reparing the permissions.
It's ok! It works!
OK thanks for the feedback

Is there a way this might be fixed aside from editing php tables? I have seen a variety of solutions for this same error (that I've also tried), and I don't want to start learning php to guess at a solution.
Thank you.

I also have the image_slug issue on flash upload.
I am currently on version.
I added the allow NULL on the field. It doesn't give a error any longer. But it still does not seem to upload the files. The non flash upload works AOK.
