How to set your own links for the thumbnails? (6 posts)

Is it possible to have your thumbnails link to a page rather then opening up a lightbox? I'm asking this because I'm working on a site for my friend and she wants to show 1 main image in the gallery, and then when someone clicks the thumbnail it'll open a 2nd page with another gallery with all the images that are apart of that set. I can't seem to find any options that allow this to happen.

    Thanks for your help!

Ok I figured out how to create the link, but now if I don't want custom links for the 2nd gallery it links to how can I manage that? I tried to be slick and create a duplicate NextGEN plugin, but that didn't work.

    Thanks again for your help!

Hey sorry I apparently don't get alerts when people respond to my threads. I used this plugin to do it. "NextGEN Custom Fields".

Unfortunately I still can't get the light box effect to work to the 2nd gallery the first gallery links too.

Sweet I got it to work the way I wanted it. Apparently after I use the custom fields plugin I have to put in all the urls into the gallery. Then I have to put the gallery effect on that specific gallery. Now it works perfectly!!! The fix was much easier then I thought. Took a lot of trial and error to figure that out though lol.
