    Hi there!

    1. I just wonder if I in any way can put my gallery on my index page?
    2. Another question of mine is that can I make an thumbnail slider with nextgen? like I have here?

    Thanks for answers!:)

Dont know about slider, but you can use the echo do_shortcode('[nggallery id=1]'); or whichever shortcode you need, to show on any page.

    Hello,

I have the same problem, but don't know how to use the shortcode.

We have a talent contest and each contestant has a post *(not a page) with their own nextgen photo gallery.

I need the gallery to show up in the homepage, not when expanded to the full posting *("Read More").

So, how do I write the shortcode into the post next to the individual nextgen gallery id code?

    Thank you!

Well, the shortcode is mostly for use in your theme files. So editing your theme files, you can have a gallery in your blog roll, but not in single post view.
If you don't know how to edit html (no pun intented), there is a bit of learning to do...
