This is probably very, very simple... but I'm not getting it. I need to do either one of two things:
1) Hyperlink and image to a page that will open in a new window.
or
2) Make text beneath the image open in a new window.
Can someone please assist me in this?

Question (1) is probably a php change so I can't help with that.
For question (2) try.... Go to "Manage Gallery" click on a gallery name. Try putting your html into the description box for your image. Here's one I did as a test.

You'll see that the line "Artist: Toshi Yoshida (1911-1995)" has a hyperlink.
