I would like to set up a top level page with the album that contains the 2 test smooth galleries I created. I tried putting [ album id=3 template=extend], but it only displays the literal text, not the galleries. How do I create a album page that contains the different galleries?
My site is at http://www.digitalpicks.net. I want the gallery page (or something like it) to show the glass flowers and roads galleries.

silly question (sorry) first - album has been created?
Because code looks right so far (but there should be no empty space between bracket and album), did you copy/paste it or put it there by hand?
If visual editor is enabled for editing posts/pages then there should be a menue item for ngg from where you could add galleries albums and so on to your post pages, its just above the text field.
