Hey Alex, I'm having the same problem as the OP. I can't seem to make this featured image come up as anything but a crop_50x50 when I select featured image from NextGEN Gallery and choose "Use as Featured Image" It comes up as a blurry photo when the original size is huge (like 1200x900). When I looked up the path of the photo it shows this

How do I change this to show a full size image or a thumbnail cropped at the dimensions i set in the options panel of NextGEN gallery?
Thanks!
Adam
I've got a simiilar issue, I've uploaded a set of images to a gallery and not specified any sizes for nextgen to resize them to, when I use as a featured image it's creating a 970x129 version and using that instead of the original image size( which should be 690 x 207). When I use a single image in a page it's working properly.
I haven't specified any sizes via add_image_size in the functions.php
Cheers, this is a great plugin and I will contribute if it gets used on the site I'm working n.
