Hi, I love the plugin! A suggestion: it would be great if one could preload images in the regular gallery, much like in Simpleviewer. So once a viewer clicks on the thumb, the larger image should load quickly (because larger images were already loaded).
Also, when I crop thumbnails, it'd be nice if the tool "remembered" where the image is cropped. You always have to start from scratch when you edit the thumbnail. There's no frame that tells me where the it's already cropped. It'd be great for fine-tuning the thumbs.

Did you find a way to preload the images? I need that for NextGen as I work with many high quality images.
User Shutter and AJAX preloading for my Carousel, but main/large images seem to need loading anyways and do not seem to preload.
Have grazed the web to find a way to preload NextGen Gallery Carousel images. Only found JQuery and CSS options to load specific images. No options to load images that need loading for a specific page/gallery.
Reading http://www.ryanprice.ca/how-to-preload-an-entire-directory-of-images-using-javascript-and-php/ and checking if it can be adjusted to pick the gallery folder of gallery in question and not the entire wp-content/gallery folder as it would demand too much time to load all.
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1266896 mentioned a PHP Mootools option for galleries, but I haven't found the code just yet.
