   Hello, I use the last version of NextGEN just uploaded on WordPress 3.0.1. With this setting of my system detected by NextGEN:

   FreeType Linkage : with freetype
   T1Lib Support : No
   GIF Read Support : Sì
   GIF Create Support : Sì

   JIS-mapped Japanese Font Support : No

   I set the permissions for the folder "wp-content/gallery" at 777 and for all the sub-folder (I belive that don't need this full permissions, what is it the minimum?).
   In General options I have selected the default GD library.
   I belive there isn't problem, but when I load images or try to re-create the thumbnails I receive a generic error message without details.
   The image was uploaded, the subfolder for thumbnails was created but the thumbnails files not.
   What can be the problem?

   Having the same problem I think. Everythings alright except for the thumbnails. They don't show up. Not in administration not in site.

   I'm having the same problem sporadically. I can't determine any pattern, either. Some thumbnails get generated, some do not. Most of the time, I can get them to show up if I rebuild.
