• Hi. I am able to display gallery fields on my gallery pages and image fields on my image pages.

What I would like to do is show one of the gallery fields – the description – on the image pages. The problem is that the image browser template doesn’t recognize gallery fields, and I am not enough of a PHP coder to figure out how to grab those fields and add them to the image template.

I’ve tried NGG Custom Fields, but they are also divided into Gallery fields and Image fields, so I’m stuck with the same problem.

I could add a custom field to each image and fill it with the identical content, but that seems like the long way around.

Can anyone help with some code? Thanks!

    Hi,

Did you find any solutions to this? I’m looking to do the same kind of thing in the imagebrowser.

    Thanks,

    JR

I have tried my best to get a solution for managing the Alt/Text – Description fields in NextGen. I have tried every solution option. The stuff just does not seem to work. I am happy to pay someone to get this work. I am ready to turn my back on NextGen and find something that works!
