Disaplying Albums on Page/Post (5 posts)

I am new to this plugin (which is great, by the way). I would like to create numerous albums and have them displayed on the same page (call it "Gallery"). Then I add the galleries of those photos to those images...but how to get them to display on the page.

I used the short code for the initial gallery I made ([nggallery id=1]) and the images for that gallery show up fine but that is not what I am trying to accomplish.

Recap: If I have 5 albums -- I want the album covers for those albums to show up on the page called "Gallery". Then when you click on the album cover -- you get the images related to that album. Make sense?

Okay -- it seems I cannot find an answer to my problem (which I am sure is based on ignorance).

I am very confused about ALBUMS. I made gallery with 14 images in it. I then created an ALBUM and set the cover image. I then dragged the GALLERY that I want in that ALBUM to the proper album. I added the NextGEN code in the PAGE I want the Album to show up and all I see is the list of images that are in the gallery. Is there not a way to simply show the ALBUM cover with the description or name?

Want I would like to be able to do is list the ALBUM covers only on the page (not post) and then when you click on that album you get the images related to it.

    Thanks.

The shortcode [album id=#] displays the gallery cover image and description for each gallery (or album) that is in the album with the specified id.
