[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Default number of images per gallery is 40 – how can I change that?

I’m working with a gallery using Next Gen Gallery and when I hit 40 images I can’t upload any more. I looked at Gallery>Options and changed Max. number of images but that doesn’t do anything. Is there a way to make it take more than 40 images? Thanks!
