[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] database problems

    I am getting problems with the link from NextGen to my database.

    I get a message that the database has been updated but the information I have entered does not appear on the page. If I leave the page and do something else for a while the information may be there when I come back. 50% of the time it is not.

    I suspect the problem is with the server and the webhost and I am beginning to think that the only solution is to go and edit the tables directly in PHP admin.

    Has anyone any idea of possible causes and what workarounds I can use ?
