[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Conflict with pagelines theme w/IE dropdowns

    Using nextgen 1.9.6 with pagelines 1.2.4 free theme.
    With nextgen installed and active, the dropdowns for menu items do NOT appear in IE 8/9 for either navbar or navclassic. Nextgen slideshows show a spinning circle. Albums and those slideshows work fine.

    Chrome works fine.

    Used instant wordpress as a test with no other plugins and no customizations.

    Any ideas?
