• I am new to using WP MU and have just upgraded to WP3(MS)for a new site. I installed and activated NextGEN Gallery and that went fine. I am also using BuddyPress 1.2.4.1. I am also new to setting up a Gallery.

    The problem I am having is that I can’t upload pictures into the Gallery. The upload shows the red bar with 100%, the page refreshes automatically and a message appears next to the upload box saying No file chosen and at the top in the yellow box: 0 picture(s) successfully added.

    I added a picture by ftp and the picture shows in the gallery.

    I am wondering if this is a permission thing? I have super admin permission. I am also not sure what permission level the folder “gallery” requires.

    Perhaps there is a setting or option I am missing?

  • I have same problem after upgraded to WP3. I got message saying 0 picture(s) successfully added affter uploading an image.

    Looks like NextGEN Gallery isn’t working correctly with WP3 with upload images.

    Found some error in my php5.ini file and fixed it. Upload worked successfully.

    Perhaps you need to add php.ini (for PHP 4) or php5.ini for (PHP 5) in your root directory and add the codes in the file which allows uploading files.

    rg_emulation = off
    allow_url_fopen = on
    memory_limit = 1000M
    post_max_size = 150M
    file_uploads = On
    upload_max_filesize = 100M

    I am having this exact issue with a client’s site. Site is upgraded to wordpress 3 and now unable to upload with the NextGEN gallery manager. I’m not sure what php5.ini is I don’t see anything of a similiar name in the wordpress folders..

    Any advice much appreciated!
