Hi,
Some of my clients don't have a simple means to compress their images, so I was wondering if NextGen could handle this automatically after/during the upload? If not, can someone recommend a cheap/free image compression tool? I would tell them to just get Photoshop, but that's not exactly cheap, nor simple, for newbies.
Thanks.

Does NextGen gallery automatically compress images?
Some of my client's photos are 2M each, so it would be great if NextGen could compress them down substantially (to like 100k) so the client doesn't have to learn Photoshop or some other tool to compress images.
Thanks.

Oh, that's just awesome andreask. Much much appreciated. My clients will be stoked too...one less obstacle to getting their content online quickly and easily. Thanks again.

i used this resize plugin, but with NGG 1.5 should handle this too, right?
So with NGG 1.5 and after it's already built in?
I tried using the plugin mentioned above, but it doesn't appear to actually compress the images, which is my main objective.
