• I’m using WordPress 2.7.1, the Atahualpa 3.2 theme. and the NextGen Gallery Plugin, which I love!

I’d like to have a gallery to store images that would be inserted in posts, instead of using Media Library. I want this gallery to be hidden from public view because I only want to put things in there that are not available for purchase. I tried creating a gallery without creating a page, but it still shows up with all my other galleries. I didn’t include it in the Album I created.

Thanks for your help. I’m fairly inexperienced, so if you give me a tip, please be really specific. I know I could use the media library, but I love that people can enlarge the images included in the posts if they like.

  • I may be wrong, but I have a blog with nearly 2000 photos in 50+ galleries and these are only available to public view if I make a page of the gallery or otherwise insert the gallery in a post. Otherwise, they are ‘hidden’.

Well, this is odd I think or maybe I don’t understand something? I have two albums. I put all the galleries into one album except for one gallery. I put that gallery into the second album. I created a post page and put the code in to show the first album only, but both albums show on the page. How can I get the second album not to show on that page? Also, I didn’t create a page or link the gallery (in the second album) to any page.
