   Its nice that Alex created a plugin that integrates wp-smushit with nextgen. All new images loaded into nextgen are compressed. The issue is I have almost 5000 images were loaded in nextgen before Alex created this plugin. What can we do to compress those images that existed before then?

   Alex, can you write a simple script that will compress the pre-existing images in Nextgen through wp-smushit?

   yea... seems very incomplete without it. Unfortuately I do not posses the skills to do it.

   It would be nice to have bulk smush feature with existing Nextgen Gallery images. Is there any plugin which can accomplish this?
