   Before I install this, I need to know, do each of my signed up users have the option to have their own album?

   This is actually a problem I'm having as well.

   You can set up Nextgen so that user can create albums/galleries, but they can only edit their own. If this is what you're looking for, then Nextgen can do that, however keep in mind that users will still have access to view other peoples albums/galleries.

   If you're trying to get a set up where people have their own distinct, private galleries that they can choose who can and can't see a gallery (like a family website), then Nextgen isn't quite there yet.

   omginternets, I'm interested in the first option you describe where by users can edit and only edit their own gallery what ever access to view others gallery they have.. Could you tell me more so I get started using this opportunity.

   The Nextgen gallery plugin is really all you need. Just install it, activate it, then set up permissions based on what you want.
