• Whenever I have nextgen gallery installed on a test site and then move that site to the live server, all the nextgen gallery settings are missing. I do a search and replace in the database just to change the URL from the test site link to the live URL, then in the admin, every setting is blank, not even the default settings are there anymore.

Tomorrow I have to migrate a HUGE multisite with over 100 network sites and they all have the nextgen gallery installed, so I want to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

What am I doing wrong when I change the URL in the database? All I do is change the URL from the IP address to the domain name. I tried it today with a test site, just changing the url to include the www, using a search and replace tool, and already I see problems in the test site admin and frontend.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a solution to this?

    Thanks in advance 🙂

  • Same problem here, all wordpress settings and plugins are correctly migrated except the NextGen Gallery.

The NextGen Gallery settings are all blank (not set).

Anyone has a solution for it?
