When using [album=1, extend] or any other album id, it displays all available galleries. For example...
This page has album id of 3 and it shows galleries that are assigned to 3 and galleries that are assigned to 4.

Shouldn't it be id=1 and not album=1? I'm new to Wp and all this so I may be wrong....
If you don't mind, can I ask how you managed to set up a link form your albums to the galleries? I only seem to be able to do it if I set the gallery holding pages to "Private" which can't be right.... and also my photo for my album is off target, and giving a rather unusual view for the folder photo... you can see what I mean here... http://www.lams.org.uk/?page_id=87
