   When I put the Album shortcde in a widget, it doesn't work. It shows all the galleries, not just the ones in the album.

   I have found that the "Deactivate gallery page link " breaks the ability to use the [ album=xx template=xxx ] shortcode. You must keep that setting checkmarked in the Gallery settings-> Gallery -> first setting.

   Gallery settings
   Deactivate gallery page link The album will not link to a gallery subpage. The gallery is shown on the same page.
