• I am not quite figuring this out if it is there.

I am needing to List Albums on a Page by the Album name and not the Content. As is done with Gallery’s with [gallery=id] I need to do the same for the Album’s.

    Eg. Album A | Gallery 1 |Gallery 2
    Album B | Gallery 3 | Gallery 4

I need to list on Album’s Page:
    Album A
    Album B

Without showing contents of those Albums which [album=id] does.
The look and feel should reflect the same as the Gallery CSS.

I have tried the albumtags options but this did not seem work.

I have had to manually create links on a page to the relevant Albums and from there List the Gallery’s.

My thinking would be to be able to get the Albums working in a hierarchy like the adding Gallery’s to an Album.

Eg. Album (Top Level) can have have Album A and Album B added to it.
So that when the Top Level Album is added to a page we can then list the Albums within it and not the gallery’s below that. Images should then allocated for the Albums under that by assigning any image from any Gallery with an Album.

  • I found a tricky solution for this problem.
It works only in case you open your galleries on separate pages.

    You create:
Album A Outer which contains Gallery A
Album B Outer with Gallery B

Gallery a contains one picture, which is a thumbnail. This thumbnail will be displayed as a thumbnail of Album A.
This gallery links to a page, instead of displaying content of Gallery A, this page displays content of Album A (you need to henge it manually)

    Same thing for Gallery B.

On the albums list page you display Album A Outer and Album B Outer.
Each one of them contains one gallery, so only two thumbnails are displayed and each thumbnail leads to it’s album.
