I am looking for a way to do this too.

    Looking at shutter-reloaded.js

I’m not a javascript coder though.

Any progress on this? Would love this too.

    Hey guys,

Not sure if this is what you’re looking for, but I used the imagebrowser setting in NextGEN so it would create a page for each image, then using the “ShareThis” code, added facebook and twitter buttons to each imagebrowser page.

The file to add the code to was /wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/view/imagebrowser.php. I’m just guessing the file you want to add your facebook code to is singlepic.php (but that is just a guess, and totally untested).

Did this work for all of you and did it show the correct image when you liked or shared it? I know how to insert like and share buttons on the image, but it does not show the correct image when you like.

What is the link its sending? Also, are you using a plugin like ShareThis?

I tried this, but received many complaints that viewing the image takes too long. It would be better if there is a way not to use image browser like lightbox or something.

I’ve written a post about how to add individual Like buttons to images in a NextGEN Gallery while retaining the FancyBox/Other overlay solution: http://www.bohemianalps.com/blog/2011/08/facebook-like-buttons-ngg/

It works pretty well aside from any Facebook quirks. I hope this helps.

i have FB Like on all posts, it automatically displays on the picture as long as im using Imagebrowser, but, the number of Likes, will spread across all images, meaning each image does not have its own Like option. .

would be awesome to do this some how
