   Is there any way to set a new order for the images or move images from one position to another in a gallery? Cant believe there is´t one but couldn´t find it.

   Well, there is a way to sort images by ID, filename, Alt/Text, Date/Time: go to Manage gallery / YourGallery and click on the Sort Gallery button.

   My only problem is that when I click on Update Sort Order, it goes back to the Unsorted default... Maybe you'll be more lucky!

   I don´t have any "sort gallery" button (???)

   That button is right after the section "Gallery Settings" with the "Save Changes" button. That section can be found when you try to manage one of your own gallery.

   Don´t have this button!!! What I would have expected is kind of a drag&drop sorting thing like it can be done in the standard WP gallery admin.

   Hi Michael,

   to show the "sort gallery" button you must change the setting in Galley > Options > Sort options > Sort thumbnails > Custom order.
