I’m using NextGen Gallery with Nextgen Public Uploader for visitors to upload images from the front end. By default you can add a field in the Public Uploader admin for them to set a description of the image before uploading.

I want them to be able to provide additional information that is stored in another field. For that I use Nextgen Custom Fields. But I do not know how to add an input field that stores the information in a custom field.

    Anyone?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi jkarlsson
This has been asked a few times already, but unfortunately there isn’t a way to do this.
I did try contact the author of NGG Public Uploader to get them to add some hooks that I could use to make this possible, but they never replied.

Okay, I guess I’ll just have to figure it out on my own then.

    thanks for the reply.

    @shauno

    Thanks for all hard work

But we need a Front End upload 100% working

    By shortcode in a page.php

1- User Create Your Own Albun
    2- Upload Images

    For Subscriber, Contribuitor, Author, Anyone

Just use if user is logged in and done 🙂

    Thanks from Brazil <3

    Hi Cidade

That is a little outside of the scope of the custom fields plugin, I’m sorry to say. Perhaps you can hire a developer to cusomtomise the current NGG Public Uploader, and integrate NGG Cusom Fields to get what you want.

    Good luck
