   Descriptive. I can almost see the problem in my minds eye. Oh, wait, that's just a tear as I realise effort is dead. Long live free help.

   Moving on. So are you saying when you use the short code on a WordPress blog post, everything works as expected. But when you use that exact same short code in a WordPress page, nothing happens (or does an error show, or aliens invade and suck out your brain, or pirates ride in on unicorns?)
   Because if it's the pirate/unicorn thing, friggin AWESOME!
