Up dated to 3.0.3
Meenews 5.0 didn't work with 3.0.1 or 3.0.3
wiped out all my setting older 2.7.1 setting.
did not reinstall as newsletters are sent out every week.
currenting using another eNewsletter app. since we discovered meenews has a 150 news letter limit and a few other small issues.

I had a similar issue...
I upgraded to WordPress 3.0.4, and at the same time downloaded meenews newsletter plugin v5.0 (from wordpress.org and the developer site). When I installed the plugin into wordpress, nothing happened ie no newletters option appeared in the dashboard menus.
To get it working, i renamed the plugin folder
from: meenews-newsletter
to: meenews
Seems to be working ok now. Might be a helpful workaround...

Thanks, just updated to 5.0 since the older version does not work with WP 3.2.1. spending time making it work, but not much success. it could be WP or browser. Will continue to work through this.
