    I have two different requests:

Could you please make it possible to have the posts sorted by date – so that when I havve 4 blogs in my network, and want to display 5 posts from each blog, it doesn’t show all 5 from blog 1, then 5 from blog 2 – but instead show all 50 posts sorted by day of posting?

Second: Is it possible to make a feature, where it shows the most popular (eg. most viewed in the last week) post from each blog in the network?

Hi, thanks for your message. I’m a little bit busy now (see the FAQ) but I’ll keep this in mind for a next release.

    Best regards.

    Hello again,

Just keeping you posted about this subject, the version 3 will include the sorting by date functionality and some new ones as well.

Regarding the most popular, shamefully WordPress doesn’t store by default any information that can be used for this purpose, some plugins allow to do that but as it’s beyond the scope of NLP I can’t propose a solution for that right now, nonetheless I will think about that, maybe I can create an extension to be used along with NLP, let’s see.

    Cheers.

    Hello
    I have the same problem.

    Hello pangereh1368,

This functionality is already in place since version 3. To use it you need to set Sort by Date to Yes (true) then set the total number of posts you want to display.

    Cheers.

    Hi Jose Luis. Thank you.
The most important problem I have is: Is it possible to make a feature, where it shows the most popular (eg. most viewed in the last week) post from each blog in the network?

Hi, that’s already on my TODO list, shamefully WordPress doesn’t provide a way to determine which post has more views, it does count which posts have more comments but that’s a very simplified method to determine which posts are most popular.

I’m working on a solution for this, but right now it’s not possible to sort posts by popularity.
