   I need a sidebar widget which shows a random text out of a pool I can edit.

   I would like to use it to show something like a "tip of the day".

   That should be really easy to code but I never coded before so I ask for your help :)

   I would pay $5 for it.

   Hi, you could use any quotes plugin that has a sidebar widget.

   I didn't find a plugin which lets users edit the "quotes" but the one you have linked could work, thanks :)

   There is a plugin called Random Text which has been working great for me!
