   I have for a while been looking for an event registration plugin where you registration can be restricted to registered users, so that they have to login to register for the event.

   I found this, which probably was exactly what i needed, but is out of date, and did not function properly.

   Does anyone know about this sort of plugin which runs in the latest versions of WP?

   you should try eventr from binnya. you can find it in the plugin-repository. there´s a forum too, where some people are posting their requests for new features and improvements (http://projects.binnyva.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=11). since the dev-version there changed a lot and things are getting better. give it a try and post your needs their. it´s worth a try and binnya (the author) is a nice guy.

   or try event registration from david flemming. it´s even better, because he´s constantly working on this.

   Instead of installing a plug-in I just use Eventbrite's widget to sell tickets and manage the registration.
