When users subscribe using Navayan Subscribe their username is the same as their email address without the '@' sign.
For example Paul Smith subscribes as paul.smith@example.com. Navayan Subscribe adds him into the user base as paul.smithexample.com. Not good. Pretty ugly even considering that I cannot change usernames. I would have to delete the user and then re-add the user with a 'normal' username like 'PaulS'
I also tried to contact the author of Navayan on her blog, but the "Subscribe to my blog" will not allow me to put in a username!

@wa116: It is because the username is unique. Anyway, I have updated the plugin for username, post content etc. Get updated version.
Yes, NS does make the username 'unique'. I installed 1.1.4.3 and now the usernames are the exact same as their emails. Paul Smith has paul.smith@example.com (his real email address) as a username.
The problem with this, is that the bots that troll the Internet can easily score a bunch of emails just from the usernames. Putting the users at a major disadvantage when dealing with spam AND their identities. Paul Smith would me much better off if HE could choose his username. PaulS for example. The manual addition of a user by the Site Admin will deny a second PaulS from using that username. It would be very nice if NS could do the same.
Thank you for your reply and attention to this topic.
