Yesp, the 2.8B version solved the same problem for me on my site. Kudos. I just deleted the old 2.8 plugin via FTP and then uploaded the new one, activated it and wheelllaaaa it worked just fine again. Hope it helps.

It still doesn't work for me. The drag and drop works fine, but it doesn't arrange the Pages anymore.

FYI: Version 2.8b on WordPress 2.7.1 - drag and drop doesn't work on any of the sub-pages.
Rolling back to previous version of plugin for now. Any help or update that addresses this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for creating such a great plugin! =)

Not working for me. I'm using WP 2.7.1
Drag and drop does not work. Just highlights the text.
Tried deleting and re-installing and still nothing.

Hey froman118, thanks for the reply, my website is http://www.gcbnow.com. My pages are basically in alphabetical order and every time I hit Click to Order Pages nothing happens. Could it be something else? Maybe something is not working right with the main PHP files. It says that it updated successfully but nothing moves. I'm using WordPress 2.8.1. Thank you.

Nothing moves in the ordering screen or on your front page? You also have to adjust your theme or widget to use the "menu_order".

It worked before, until I upgraded to 2.8.1 then it didn't move. It moves in the order page, but not on the front page.

Check that the upgrade didn't change your sidebar theme or the widget settings. If it just isn't showing up on the front page then there's a problem with the ordering setting.

All I can say is if it orders correctly on the admin page and just doesn't show up on the front page, then there's a widget/theme issue. Don't know what else to tell ya.

Thanks for everything froman, It works now, I had a backup copy of the php files and replaced the footer section and it worked. Something must have gotten messed a month ago, But, luckily I had that backup that fixed it.

I'm having the same kind of issue, with updating the order and nothing on the actual page changing. Then I realized it was because the My Page Order widget is missing. (The My Link Order one is still there.) I upgraded my WordPress install and the widgets today. I also installed it on a new install and it wasn't working -- unless I have no widgets selected at all. With the default theme & no widgets selected in the widget menu, there are then a couple of widgets that appear (links, archive, pages, meta, etc.) and for some reason THEN it seems like My Page Order is working. I've uninstalled/deactivated it several times and nothing.
Maybe I'm crazy. It's been a while since I've looked at this stuff, but I could have sworn there was supposed to be a widget, lol.

It works without any widgets installed because it falls back to what is hardcoded in your theme which uses the built in "menu_order". For My Page Order, just use the built in Pages widget and set the sort method to "menu order" or whatever it says.

Ah, I think I was mixing it up with some widgets that one of the themes I have creates. (Haven't done any managing of these sites for a couple of months.) The page widget was set to sort by page ID. It's working now. Thanks!

I was having the same problem with both My Page Order and PageMash and as soon as I shut off the javascript for Piclens in NexGen gallery all works again, so I think the javascript conflicts are indeed the answer. This is not the first time I've had problems with CoolIris/Piclens functions and plugins either.

I'm using WordPress version 2.8.4. I've installed the plugin: My Page Order version 2.8.3. I'm able to drag and drop my pages in the order I want in My Page Order. I have set my Page widget to Sort by page order. My live blog still has my pages in alphabetical order, and I've looked at a plethora of forums and have tried all the suggestions, but nothing helps. Someone please help me stop pulling my hair out!
