Hi,
I am trying to display more than one upcoming event in a widget, but only the first event is displaying.
I have selected "Events (e.g. 2 past, 3 future)" and entered "10 events into the future; 2 events into the past" ... but it is not working.
Any help would be appreciated.

Checking on this, but haven't been able to reproduce it. Is the widget set to display a number of events, or a number of *days* forward and back? If it's days, this could be correct.

Hi Joe, I'm having the same issue. Mine is set to show "events" and not "days," but it is still only showing one event at a time.
I have all the latest versions of everything (wordpress and the plugin) as of 2/9/12. Let me know if you have any ideas.

Is the event which is showing a multi-day event?

No. It is a one day event. There are events in the upcoming week which are not showing.

Interesting. OK, that's not the problem I was thinking it could be. Is your widget restricting events by category?

Nope. It is set to show all events, 2 back, 3 forward.
I was hoping to isolate the code for the widget to see if something in there is causing it; do you advise I should do that?

Hi, I was having this same problem and found by trial and error that if I checked the "Multi-day event" box on an event, then any events after that one were not shown in the upcoming events widget. As far as I can tell leaving the "Multi-day event" box unchecked doesn't seem to have any other effect even if the event spans multiple days.
