Sorted it! I had to put entries in for the Target URL’s. There are 3 of them in the settings.
That’s odd. That shouldn’t be the case, but I’ll check it out and see if I inadvertently introduced a new bug…

One quick thing Joe. Do you know how to add a My Calendar as a sidebar widget. Adding the quickcode to sidebar_home.php does not seem to work. I added:
[my_calendar_upcoming format="list" type="event" showkey="yes" shownav="no" showjump="yes" toggle="no" time="month" before="0" after="8"]
It simply showed the text above instead of loading the widget.
If you want to use it as a widget, use the Widget section of your Appearances menu. If you want to add it directly to your theme, like you’re describing above, you’ll need to wrap the shortcode in a do_shortcode() function — this is documented in the My Calendar FAQ: http://www.joedolson.com/articles/my-calendar/faq/
THNX Meeker, that worked for me, too.
It took me a while to figured what you meant.
My Calendar > Settings > Calendar Output Settings > I just copied the link below the ‘Target URL for event details links:’ field and placed the link (3 times).
some help please
this is the 7th calendar i have installed and still cant figure out how to simply show a complete list with with my events with date, time and name. (the actual event first under it the upcoming and then with a new headline past events)
now there is the month above and buttons for previous and next events and there is just the date and no title.
would be happy about help! 🙂
thanks
You may want to disable the list behaviors, on the Behavior Editor page. It sounds like you have it set up in default mode, where if you click on the date, it will show you the events on that date.
Why are old events in my upcoming events widget?
I´ve seen your answer on follwing page, however I can´t find the way to change the settings 🙁

Could you please help me.
Kind regards,
Nina
The settings are changed in the widget settings. Or, if you’re using a short code to show the list, in the short code attributes. If you aren’t logged in as an admin level user, however, you may not be able to access the settings you need to change.
