Not working on Firefox Mobile for Android (7 posts)

    Tested and working on iPhone 3GS and Android native browser (gingerbread), but will not play on Firefox mobile for Android. Hope to get results back today from friends on iPad, iPhone 4, and older Android browsers (eclair and frojo).

    With Firefox Mobile the player and transport controls mostly draw, but no playlist. When you hit play there is a graphic sweep from left to right - as if it buffered or played - but it moves to fast and no audio is output.

    Let me know if you need any specific information, or if there is something more helpful I can run on my end - I'd be happy to help debug this! choochus @ gmail dot com

    Hi, Did this issue get resolved? I just installed the plugin, and it works fine on Chrome and Safari, but I can't seem to get it to play on Firefox (Mac). Haven't tried PC or IE yet.

    @illustrata,
    You'll prob still need flash as FF doesn't support native playing of mp3 format :(

    @Simon, I'm not sure I understand your last statement. Your plugin doesn't play in Firefox on my site but when I go to your site it works. Are you saying that I would need to use a different plugin or a different option? I would work with you on debugging this if you were willing to take the time, thanks!

    @simon Yes, I let you know via email but forgot to post here. The problem was that I had disabled hotlinking using my htaccess file and for some reason Firefox couldn't see the file with your plugin even though the other browsers could. I took out the hotlink protection and everything worked fine.
